The hotel is located very close to our relatives and was ideal for our purpose and we would be happy to recommend Didsbury Travelodge both for accommodation and the staff. We have never used a 2 star hotel before but we were pleasantly surprised to find the standards equalled some 3 or even 4 star hotels we have visited over the past few years.
The stay was great, but I especially want to thank the kind staff at Didsbury Travelodge who went out of their way to help return some belongings I accidentally left in the hotel. It was excellent service and I’m very grateful to them for taking the time.
Nice hotel in a good location, price was ok, located in a retail park,free parking ,rooms were decent, noisy outside though due to traffic
Really friendly staff. Not enough power sockets in room to charge laptop near bed. Take your extension lead for power available at bed.
Stayed here before heading to Manchester airport, easy parking and really friendly staff. Rooms were clean and good value for money
Great hotel. Staff are very welcoming the moment you step through the door. Checking in was straight forward from staff who are caring, knowledgeable and professional in their work. Instructions to the location of your room are given easily. Room had a very clean appearance, well laid out and even included a fan to cool you down on hot days. Only disappointment, it did not have an iron or safe. Although the hotel doesn't cater for food there are two establishments in the same area as the hotel that cater for cooked meals, but unfortunately they don't cater for breakfast in the morning. The city centre is accessible through local buses and the metro tram all in close walking distance from the hotel. There is also a large cinema complex and other food venues in the same area. Overall my needs were met for my overnight stay at the hotel. The beds were clean and comfortable with an ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath.
Certainly felt we got more than what we paid. Nice room and service couldn't be faulted. Only there one night and due to flights never had breakfast. Location good for airport but close to some busy roads so noisy if you want window open, which I always do. The bar attached was really nice too.
The location of the hotel was brilliant as there were plenty of anemities around, it was 3 minutes away from my friends house. Which was perfect for me! The price of the room was reasonable,the room I had was very clean Comfortable bed. The service was great , friendly reception person. There was a little bit of noise from the traffic outside in the morning,otherwise, everything else was great . Plus a safe car park. Overall,good. would I stay again there. Definitely, yes.
